1. Home Again

Hi. I'm Amy. Nice to meet you.

Welcome to the beginning of a new journey: from California to Hawaii, from me to you in the Summer of 2008. Salutations from the recent addition to the Crush Girl family. My name is Amy and I will be your server today.

Let me start at the beginning. I awoke this morning to the sound of small birds. There were no car alarms, no ambulance sirens, no alarm clocks.
Instead, I opened my eyes to silky Hawai'i sunshine pouring into my room, warming the place where my head rest.

"I am home," I remember thinking, drinking in the warmth, "It's good to be home.

<-------This picture was taken a few days ago. My best friend Merrily (pictured left) and I - both Maui girls- took to the streets of downtown Honolulu, O'ahu for noontime smoothies and polaroids (Guava/Strawberry smoothie consumed within minutes after this shot). A nice girl from Japan agreed to capture this moment for us. Kudos Kristi!

My friends, this is my first blog. Now I'll give you a short rundown of some Amy facts.
I'm 21, I was raised on Maui (Upcountry), and am currently a journalism student in San Diego.

My interests include: bare feet, knitting, ir a la playa, oatmeal, singer/songwriters, my siblings, parking structures, the pottery wheel, avocados, whisper-singing, hippie-dancing, and, most recently, blogging. However, these are just a few of my favorite things (whiskers on kittens not currently included).

This is a picture of me wearing The Caddyshack from our brother-line Kreed Sunglasses--------->

Welcome to some snapshots of my life.

Aloha,
Amy

Haha,
Thanks Ross. I'm just living my life how I always have. Crushies parallel my lifestyle pretty amazingly.
How's Norway?

Amy
